Ok so one of the only things my son wanted for his birthday was a scooter. And it had to be a Rockboard Scooter at that. Of course me being a mom and not really knowing to much about all the different scooters I knew I had to check them out.

So my son Jared turned 8 on February 7th and he was so upset because he didn't get the scooter that he had wanted for his birthday, so I was super excited when I got this scooter delivered via FedEx on Wednesday the 8th and it was there waiting on him when he came home from school!

So those of you not familiar with a Rockboard Scooter - you really should look into these things, they are super cool!  They are a 2 wheel scooter where the piece that the kid stands on can either stay flat like a traditional scooter or it can rise up and rock back and forth. When it is up it works sort of like a bike, the rider rocks back and forth and there is a chain similar to like a bike pedal connects that makes the scooter go. This is something totally different than I was even expecting!

So we read all the instructions and checked out a few of the videos to see all the cool things that can be done with this scooter and then he was off to try it out!!

Well let's just say that now all of a sudden Jared is like the coolest kid in the neighborhood! All the kids want to try out his scooter! After a few trial runs I would say his is pretty much a pro now. Every time he gets on it he shows me something else he can do or how fast he can go. He is really loving it - I think he likes this now more than the new bike he got for Christmas lol. I am really impressed with the make up of this scooter myself. It really is totally different than what I was expecting. Honestly I am not sure what I was expecting but after watching the videos and seeing him ride it and have so much fun on it - they are really super cool. This is something that is totally unique and really can get a child's creative juices flowing. I am so glad we had the chance to check out this amazing product!Thank You Rockboard Scooter!! And I also found out that they have a Rockboard Mini and a skateboard as well. Hmmmmm better not let my 9 year old see the skateboard - he has a birthday coming up soon and will be wanting me to buy him one of those lol!! The Giveway:One lucky reader is going to win one of these awesome Rockboard Scooters for themselves!
