Potato Cassarole

I learned how to make this back when I was about 19 or 20 years old. My best friend and I had an apartment together and of course back then our budget was not very good lol. So we always had to dream up cheap meals that would fill us up and last a couple of days. This is one of those meals we came up with - but oh it is really so yummy!!

Potato Cassarole

You Will Need:
1 bag frozen shredded hash browns
1 small container sour cream
2 bags shredded cheese ( I use cassarole cheese but you can use your preference)
2 small cans cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup ( your preference)
1 bag plain potato chips

Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
Brown hash browns ( about 10 minutes) in skillet
In large bowl mix together the browned hash browns, 2 cans soup, container of sour cream and 1 bag of shredded cheese.
Pour in baking dish and spread evenly
layer second bag of shredded cheese on top
take bag of potato chips and smash them up, spread on top for a crust

Bake on 350 Degrees about 30 minutes or until golden brown!!
Enjoy!!
